Description
WonderTox 100 Units is a botulinum toxin type A product approved by South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for specified indications and use in accordance with its authorised product information. The active ingredient, Clostridium botulinum toxin type A, acts at the neuromuscular junction by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine, temporarily reducing targeted muscle activity. Ingredients
- Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A (100U): A purified neurotoxin protein that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles by blocking nerve signals.
- Human Serum Albumin (0.5 mg): A stabilizing protein that helps maintain the integrity and potency of the botulinum toxin during storage and after reconstitution.
- Sodium Chloride USP (0.9 mg): An isotonic agent that maintains proper osmotic balance and ensures comfortable injection by matching the body’s natural fluid composition.
How to use
- Manufacturers recommend using the toxin within 24 hours of dilution, but research has shown that the reconstituted product remains stable for up to 5 weeks in the refrigerator (2-8℃).
- Wondertox comes in a vial containing a fine powder containing 100 units of Botulinum toxin type A that needs to be diluted with 0.9% saline. Note that the powder is very fine, so the vial may look empty. Rest assured that all units are present.
